“Generali in History” Among the Best Corporate Monographs 2018

Verona, October 17th, 2018: Generali in History, the book published by Marsilio and Assicurazioni Generali which jointly narrates Generali’s place in over two centuries of Italian and global history, has received the second prize for best corporate monograph at the fourth edition of the competition awarded by the OMI.

The Osservatorio italiano per le monografie d’impresa [Italian Corporate Monographs Observatory (OMI)], under the patronage of the University of Verona in collaboration with the Sapienza University of Rome, brought together a jury of fifteen university lecturers and communications professionals and an equal number of students from different universities in Italy. This jury awarded Generali in History second place among the 57 monographs up for consideration.

The fruits of an enthusiastic collaborative effort from Generali’s Historical Archive team with outside assistance, this two-volume publication, created to emphasise the company’s significant wealth of documentation and available in Italian and English, consists of 623 pages relating to documents and individuals, general historical profiles and essays, all enriched with remarkable iconography, including pieces from the Alinari photography archive.
